Fire commission site
After sitting empty for more than a year, a failed textile plant is taking on a new, lifesaving mission.
The former HomTex facility at the John Will Stacy MMRC Regional Business Park on KY 801 was purchased recently by the Kentucky Fire Commission for $924,805.
HomTex closed down in July 2013 after operating about one year in the same facility used by CDC Golf which went out of business in 2012.
