The Morehead-Rowan County Airport Board is a member of the Morehead-Rowan County Chamber of Commerce
Opening in 2007, we’re Kentucky’s newest public airport serving the needs of local, state, and national air traffic including business jets with:
- A 5500 ft. runway;
- Modern office facilities with visitor and pilot lounges, and conference room;
- Full service and 24 hour self-serve 100LL and Jet A fuel
- AWOS 3
- 24 T-Hangars
- Large Community Hangar
- 10 tie-down spots
- Courtesy vehicle
The FBO is open 7 days a week and can arrange the following services:
- Aircraft maintenance
- Flight instruction (private, instrument, commercial)
- Aircraft rental
- Custom upholstery shop
- Other assistance as needed

January – December: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Weekends Year round:
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Driving Directions:
From I-64, turn on exit 133 (4 miles west of Morehead exit 137) and then turn north onto KY 801. After 1.7 miles, turn left on to Rodney Hitch Blvd and continue for approximately two miles to the airport.
Note: Many online map services provide an incorrect location for the airport.
Two parking lots are available close to the Terminal Building and Community Hangar for visitor, general public and T-Hangar tenant parking. Entrance into the Terminial Building area can be gained at the rear south gate of the Terminal Building.
ACCESS AND SITE SECURITY
The airport property is accessible by vehicle during regular day-light hours.
