IMPORTANT: Runway 02/20 Closure July 6-August 24, 2020

Runway 02/20 and all associated taxiways will be closed to traffic beginning July 6, 2020 for 45 days in order to complete two important construction projects. Several unstable sections of the runway will undergo a full-depth reconstruction, and all runway and taxiway lighting including PAPIs will be replaced with a state-of-the-art LED system.  The two projects are planned to run concurrently to limit the total runway/taxiway closure schedule to 45 days.  Continued operation of rotor wing aircraft on the ramp area will be allowed during this time. After completion, the runway will be opened to normal use, but sections of the taxiway may be periodically closed to allow for the installation of the new taxiway lighting system. These projects are critical to the continued safe operation of our airport, and we appreciate your patience and understanding of the need for these improvements.
